I don't know how to set the time on my Armitron digital watch?
Posted on May 26, 2009 under Digital news and reports |Alright, so I have this five or six year old digital watch that I just dug up last night and I need help setting the time.
It seems like a pretty simple watch as far as its features go — the only visible functions seem to be telling time, an alarm, and a stopwatch feature. And so far, the only thing I can seem to get to work is the stopwatch.
I have absolutely no idea how to set the time. I've worn and set many watches in the past but I just can't figure out how to set the time on this one. As I said in the original question, it's labeled an Armitron and it has WR165FT written towards the bottom. I'm not sure as to what "wr165ft" means — it could be a model type or just an individual product ID. Anyway, I've googled as many phrases that I could think of concerning this watch and I've gotten no helpful results. It seems as if this watch doesn't even exist at all.
The watch looks like this:
- it is a soft black/gray
- it seems to be made for women (judging by the smaller wrist)
- it's got only three buttons
- these buttons are labeled RESET, MODE, and ST/STP
- its screen features only the time (hour, minute, second) and the day of the week
Could somebody be kind enough as to give me instructions as to how to set the time? It's only a few hours behind.
I'd prefer to get answers from people who own an Armitron watch and actually know how to set it — not just links to Armitron's website and online manuals. This is because I've tried both the website and these manuals and neither of them seem to specify for this model of watch.

I can't tell you how to set your watch, but when I didn't know how I took it to a local jewelry store. They told me how to set it.
