What are some good digital camera brands?

I know there are tons but could you make it easier for me and list them? I'm shopping for digital cameras.

Digital voice recorder with good clarity for lecture recording?

I'm looking for a digital voice recorder to use to record my class lectures so I can play them back for studying purposes. Here are my issues:

-I can't spend more than $275.

-I would like something with reasonably good (better than static-y basic; doesn't need to be studio quality though) recording quality, because I go to a large university where my classes can sometimes be 400+ students, so I can't always sit in the front row!
If it records to a card, that's best, and a high quality setting is preferable.

-I would like something with a simple user interface, because I don't know much about audio technology, and honestly don't have time to learn all of it.

-I would like something that is well-made. I looked at some models that were criticized by customers for being cheaply made out of fragile plastic.

-It must be compatible with MacIntosh.

Any insight anyone has as to where I can find one, potential models, experience with using voice recorders in lecture halls, etc. would be greatly appreciated!

WHen I record a minimovie with digital camera is there a program that allows me to cut it up into photos later?

I Have a digital camera and i have been doing some scrap booking, well i coach litttle girls softball team and can never get that exact picture i want like a girl JUST touching first base an being safe, it always take the pic a lil late, so i figure if i just take it in movie format that later there is a potential program that allows me to chop the movie, and if so what t program …thanks for lookin at my qquuestion appreciate it

My son is very accident-prone (like me). I wanted to get him one because he's going to overnight camp for the first time. He's into photography but I don't want to spend a lot of money on a camera. I'm looking for something sturdy and waterproof! Thanks!
Thanks to everyone who gave great suggestions so far! I am looking for a point & shoot type. I looked at the Fischer-Price one but the reviews are so bad on that. I need a good basic camera in the $50 - $100 range.

Is it illegal to post links to to digital items hosted on other websites?

I often times find e-books that someone has bought sitting on their web server on an unprotected directory. In other words lets say there is a hot e-book being sold on the internet such as "GetRichWithGoogle.pdf" A guy buys this ebook and stores it on his webserver, probably as back up in case his computer crashes. But he has it on a folder on his web space that doesnt have any password. If I provide links on my web site to these files is that illegal, since the file isnt on my site?

can anyone tell me of a few siters where i can download photos that are 60kb or more totally free.
i have a new website in the making and i am looking for photographs of animals,archangels,numbers,colour,dreams and planets.
most of the sites i have looked on are too small a dimension/pixel or you eventually have to pay….any totally free sites with a higher resolution/kb i would very much appreciate….thanks
