Help! I have a Canon Power Shot SD 550, and when I try to take a picture, everything works fine except that the button won't click down all the way! Has anyone else had this problem or know what it could be?

Example, you might take 20 composite digital pictures of your room and the software can basically stitch them together to create your virtual 3-D room, with every single detail (even that crumb from your donut and the pencil laying on your desk).
You can then play a game as if you're the size of an ant or spider, climbing on your book or scaling up the side of your computer etc.
I think i read about this, unless i was hallucinating.

I shot 3 roles of good old fashioned 35mm film (not professional, kodak 400 color print film). Then I had a few shots left and my boyfriend and I were drunk and he shot me topless/ nude. I'm 22, so it's not kiddie porn or anything, 2 adults having fun haha. Anyway, I don't remember which role it was. Where in NYC can I legally get my film processed? I don't need prints, just digital copies. Is it legal/ a good idea to just bring it to my neighborhood 1 hour photo, or maybe even Duane Reade?
I used to work in Jersey at CVS's 1 hour photo when I was in high school but all I remember is being told the policy was if we saw anything that looked like it could be underage porn, we had to report it. I never actually saw anything pornographic though. The pictures I took weren't that pornographic, more artistic but that's subjective. I just don't want to go to pick up my pictures and have to talk to the police.
Thanks for any help!
yeah… no.
serious answers from adults please

My brother is about to graduate from college with a degree in film studies and creative writing. Currently he makes his own videos using a Canon digital picture camera and uploading them to his computer. He is very talented at editing them and I figured it would be a good graduation present to get him a good video camera to help him out.
Any ideas?
looking for:
small, portable
possibly 60 minutes of recording time
at least 2gb
good zoom quality
compatible with PC
I am currently looking at a flip camcorder but open to all ideas from people more knowledgeable than me.
Thanks to all!
Also good sound quality.

I already installed one from Walmart over the winter. I used the 4 wire method, even though the Lennox had about 8 wires. The heat worked wonderfully all through the winter. Recently, I tried to put on the air conditioner, but was shocked to find heat coming out of my vents. What can I do???
