Will a digital coaxial cable work as a subwoofer cable going from the subwoofer to the back of the a/v receiver? I'm trying to avoid buying another cable…

I just bought a 22" Coby TV, with a built in Digital Tuner. But I don't get any of the new over the air Digital Channels. What do I have to do to get these channels? I thought I didn't need an antenna anymore. I used to use rabit ears. Please Help!

If I get the converter box for the D-TV, do I need to still pay the bills for Qwest TV service?
