Driver for Concord Eye-Q 2000 digital camera?
Posted on Jun 02, 2009 under Digital news and reports |Ok… I am trying to use a Concord Eye-Q 2000 digital camera on my computer. I don't have the driver or software for this camera on my PC. There are pictures on the camera I want to download to my computer.
So I googled to find the driver and found this site:

I don't guess I really know what I'm doing.
The computer prompted me that this driver was not proven to be compatible with Windows XP and gave me an option to cancel download. I opted to cancel, but it continued the download anyway!!? So, I did a driver scan from this site:

It said UNKNOWN in regards to this driver that was installed.
So, I'm like "Okay, I need to get this mess off my computer"….
But I don't know how.
Can someone advise me on how to get this off of my computer, or tell me that it's ok to use it. I haven't tried to use it with the camera, because I got scared that it was gonna mess it up.
Also, can anyone tell me how I can find the proper place to download something to help me get the pictures off of my camera onto my computer??? Thank You!!!!

ALWAYS go to the manufacturer's site for drivers.
If you get that warning, ignore it - Microsoft charges the manufacturer to certify the driver and all but the largest manufacturers refuse to play the game. If the manufacturer wrote the driver, it will work. If it's an XP driver, it will work with XP.
So find Concord's website, find the XP driver for that camera (it'll probably be a suite of programs), download and install. (It'll probably be the same software that came with the camera.)
