Why wont my DTA1020A Digital Converter box turn on beyond stand by?
Posted on Jun 21, 2009 under Digital news and reports |Through both the remote and button I cant get the light to turn from red to green. If it's not supposed to, how can I get it to work? I tried different input modes on my tv.
Holding the button doesnt work.

You should be able to turn it on by holding the button for a second. The light will start flashing, then go steady green. For a few seconds after startup, the TV screen will have the Digital Stream logo. That will let you know that you have the cables hooked up properly.
Yours may just be broken. On the other Hand, try unplugging it for a minute, then try agian with the startup/
