Digital TV converter: One channel won't work…?
Posted on Jun 22, 2009 under Digital news and reports |I bought the Digital TV converter box for my television a few months ago, and made the switch over. It's been working fine and I gained a lot more channels and the reception was better than when I was just using the rabbit ears.
However, I just noticed that ABC channels are no longer working. Do you think this is related to Digital TV switch over, or could it be that ABC is just having technical issues right now?
All the other channels are working.
PS. Yes, I rescanned. And it still didn't pick up the ABC channels.

Did you rescan? If so, try moving or upgrading your antenna and scan again. Oh yeah, it's related!
Update 6/16 - Just heard on our local news that a number of stations across the country that switched from "temporary digital channels" to "permanent" channels are having trouble and are back to "simulcasting" on their "temporary" channels. Do a re-scan to get these channels back.
