Canon A1000.
4X optical zoom, 10 megapixels, very good image quality, very good on batteries. Your SD1200 is a good choice also.

The PowerShot SD1200 is a good camera. By the way, if you want to record High Definition movies, you should get the SD780. If not, go for the SD1200.
PS. Price for SD780 is $50 more.
