I bought it when it just came out so it’s quiet expensive. Depending what currency you want to know. I assume mine would be around $600~$700
You’ll need to narrow down your choice of camera to a specific model in order price out cameras. The manufacturers offer many different product lines geared to ’shooters’ with different expertise levels and interests.
Figure out how much your budget is or else you’ll be overwhelmed by the choices.
You can get detailed camera specs on the Panasonic website. But prices they list will be just that ‘list price’ - the highest price there is.
Comparison price the model(s) you like in camera stores, in discount stores (like Target and Walmart) and at online retailers (for instance, Amazon.com or others).
good choice on the Panasonic as they have the Leica lens and the great intelligent auto (IA) option. They are relatively cheap for what they offer. For a point and shoot their top model is the DMC-TZ7 and offers 10mpx and 12x optical zoom. It is by far the best point and shoot on the market and is selling for around $400 online. The TZ5 is last year’s model and offers 9mpx and 10x optical zoom and is still light years ahead of all the other brands’ point and shoots. You can get it for around $200-250 online. After that they have the DMC FZ28 super zoom camera for around $300 online and then the DSLR G1 for around $650. All are great cameras and are the top rated cameras in their respective classes.
