Just took a digital pregnancy test, and said pregnant. Now i have questions?
Posted on Sep 03, 2009 under Digital news and reports |I was really stressed out from money all month so i drank a little more than usual. Like at least one glass of red wine a night, and then some on other nights. And i went to a baseball game last night and drank A LOT of beers. And i have trouble sleeping so i have been taking Tylenol PM every time. I plan on stopping everything now. No more drinks and no more Tylenol. And i had a very early miscarriage last month. AT 4 weeks. Is everything going to be okay? has anyone else been in this situation???
they took blood from me and it was back down to zero. And i took a pregnancy test like 5 days ago and it said "not pregnant". I just assumed everything was ok.

I have no idea about the tylenol but I drank a load before I was pregnant and everything has been fine. My friend didn’t find out she was pregnant til 20 weeks and she was out every weekend drinking lots. Her baby is totally fine. Obviously as soon as you find out, you should stop.

You should definitely mention this to your doctor and definitely stop drinking and taking medicine you are unsure is okay. I heard 4 drinks even in early pregnancy can cause alcohol syndrome or whatever but you would definitely have to speak with your doctor to know their opinions.

as long as you don’t continue to drink and take meds your baby should be fine.
just try not to stress about it and take it easy!!

You are fine!!! it sounds like you might be about 4 weeks along or so. Most people never know they are pregnant during the first month anyway and their babies come out fine. Don’t worry you are ok. I drank margaritas, wine, shots when i was 1 month pregnant without knowing there was a little champion growing in me. The second i found out, i felt so bad and asked God for forgiveness ;). Glad to know that my baby is doing great at my 18 weeks ultrasound.
As long as you stop drinking and start your prenatals ASAP, ur baby will be in perfect health.

EDIT: By the way Tylenol PM is fine during pregnanacy. My doctor okayed it for me cos i was having trouble sleeping.

I have been in this situation, with my second child i took tylenol pm as well and drank before I knew I was pregnant and it was whiskey. My son will turn 5 next year and starts school. No, its not the best thing to have done it but you cant beat yourself up over what you don’t know. Even an obgyn will say its ok to have a glass of wine or a beer (Single). Everything will be fine. You don’t worry. Be happy you will have a new bundle of joy soon.

After a miscarriage, it can take 4-6 weeks for HCG levels to return to normal. Your doctor needs to confirm that you are actually pregnant before you start to worry about the health of the baby (who should be fine, by the way).

If you had a very early miscarriage last month are u 100% sure the hormones giving you a pos test arent from that pregnancy? x
