Is this a good digital camera?

Fine camera, but I would also consider the Samsung TL9, it is a gorgeous camera (nice retro style design) with a lot of features (more than the Canon) for a great price.

Image quality is very good and next-shot delay quite quick for a point and shoot. Very good camera is the Canon SD1200 IS. If you want to be bothered buying on line you could save a "few" bucks. It’s $180-+shipping at Abe’s of Maine, a reputable store.

you may see here more model and cheap by you see at "Canon Digital Camera" category and search at search box by use word "sd 1200is"
you will see more cheap camera and more color to match with you.

It’s a fine camera. The $230 Canon Powershot SD1200IS ELPH compact digital camera is currently check rated by Consumer Reports [September ‘09 issue]. When set to "P," "10M 3648X2736," "Vivid" and video format "320X240 30 fps," will generate "stunning" color still and home movies. And the built-in quality microphone is capable of recording piano music as well.
