why do I need a converter box if I have a digital ready tv and pay comcast a hefty bill for hdtv signals?

now I have to have a converter box for the cartoon network that is already digital? is this just another way to extort money from those of us that pay a hefty monthly bill to Comcast for digital television?

Graphic tablet or digital scribe?

I want both but sadly do not have enough cash…

I need the graphic tablet for college work (digital painting)
I need the digital scribe (specifically IOGear) because i love it…

I have never used either of them…I just wanted to know if the digital scribe can let me draw similar to the graphic tablet…So i can spend money on that and draw on my PC too =D

Why invisible blue ray could appear on the screen of my digital camera?

When I use the digital camera, CASIO Exilim Ex-Z700, the screen was occasionally shown the blue ray. When I was in church, I could see this. When I attempted to take a photo of my nephew, I saw the line over his head. Is this correlate with digital camera or lighting?
Blue ray was invisable to naked eyes, but visable to the screen view.

Should I buy 76 or 88 key digital keyboard/piano?

I’m currently learning to play the piano and have a small, 61 key keyboard that I purchased for cheap. But I feel it is a bit limiting.

I found two different Casio keyboards that I really liked.

One is 76 keys, and how has lots of instrumental features. $299

The other is full 88keys, not as many features. $399

My ultimate goal is to become a musical improviser on the keyboard…being able to play with any type of music. But I don’t see myself becoming a full-blown concert pianist. Even though I’d love to learn classical music as well.

Any thoughts?

Why don’t the makers of digital boxes put a ground wire with there plug?

I can’t get steady reception and if you touch the antenna it comes in steady which grounds the signal so why can’t the manufactures just put a ground wire in the plug.
