Why do I occasionally lose the signal to CBS (Channel 2.1) even though it was on a TV with a digital tuner?
Posted on Oct 01, 2009 under Digital news and reports |The TV was digital ready. We also got an amplified antenna for the TV. But still we are getting lost signals or snowball. We live in Chicago, IL, about 12 miles away from the CBS 2 headquarters downtown. Are a lot of people in Chicago complaining that they cannot get Channel 2 on their new TVs even after the DTV thing happened?

Not sure. Why don’t you call CBS and ask. I’m sure they would be able to give you some suggestions. Their transmitter is not in the studio, but it still should be close enough to deliver a strong local signal.

You need an antenna that does VHF. They broadcast on channel 12.
