Omnitech Digital Picture Frame picture has gone out - can light source be bad? How do I replace?
Posted on Oct 02, 2009 under Digital news and reports |I have been using this since Christmas - it is left on, plugged in and sitting on a bookshelf. I noticed that the picture has gone out but the plug and the unit are still receiving power (when plugged in to the wall and connected to the computer info is retrievable) but there is no light - What sort of light source do these have and can it be replaced and if so where would you get a replacement from? Any help would be appreciated.

The light bulbs for LCD screens are pretty expensive. Besides, your unit should still be under warranty, so call Omnitech and have them either fix it or send you a new one.
