i bougt a 22" philips tv last month but found no digital
but in the menu there is settings for it in the tv but it wont let me into them
help please

  1. You need to have an antenna or cable with clear QAM channels to tune.

  2. There is some free open air digital programming that you might receive with the standalone HDTV; however for the most part you’ll need to force feed HD Digital content to the TV.

    If you don’t have satellite or cable with a set-top digital box then go ahead and purchase an indoor HD antenna.

    If your television can display .1 channels (eg. either 110 instead of ch.10 or 10.1 instead of ch.10) then your 22" Philips TV has a built-in HD tuner. Otherwise you’ll also need a converter box.

  3. If you are close to TV towers, there is no need to buy HD antenna. Regular rabbit ears work. If you are far from towers an external antenna would be best.
