The Best Digital Camera?
Posted on Oct 20, 2009 under Digital news and reports |I plan on getting on a digital camera. This will be my first serious not cheap/plastic purchase for a camera. I take a lot of self portraits. There is also low light where I’ll be taking my photos. So I need to have a camera that will lightening up the picture.Quality is my biggest thing, when I take pictures on my cheap digital camera now. It looks nothing like me. I’m not willing to pay over $350. I’m only 18 and I’m not a photographer, I just want a nice camera because I’m going to college soon and want to take high quality pictures without looking like a totally different person. Thanks

I think Target sell Nikon D40 with a kit lens for $350, you might wanted to check at that, for point and shoot here is my suggestion
Panasonic FZ-35 (If you want Ultra Optical Zoom, Ram format, 720p video mode with some adjustment)
Panasonic ZS-3 many same featuer as FZ-35 but is less zoom but still gave you long zoom for compact point and shoot.
Sony WX1, very new has 2.4l lens, offer sweep mode, 10 fps.

In your situation I would get the SX110IS from Canon. It has 10x optical zoom plus it has a nice large lens on it to let in lots of light so those low light shots will come out good. It is pretty cheap on Amazon and you can read the reviews there too. I hope this helps!

I would recommend Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ35 12.1MP with 18x POWER Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.7 inch LCD. Great super zoom camera that use high quality 27mm wide-angle Leica DC Vario-Elmarit lens.It is easy to use but take excellent pictures and video.
