1. What are the best batteries to use for a digital camera? (AA Batteries)
2. When I bought my camera the woman who worked there told me that I could only use Duracell Ultra Digital batteries because any other ones would tear up my camera, is this true?

I read that is supposed to give you better picture quality and mega-pixels is not what to look at. Any info? Thanks.

I’m very low on money, I’m just wondering what the cheapest way to record QAM channels using Media Center would be.
@blamay22000: You obviously don’t know what QAM is, it’s unencrypted digital cable. MOst of the time that is just your local HD channels, and maybe a few others. There are many available tuners that have this functionality. The point is I don’t have a cable box, I already use QAM to pick up my local HD cable channels, but sometimes there is more than 1 thing on I want to watch, and therefore a PC tuner would be very useful.

Do you guys know any digital cameras that can focus well? I currently have the Canon PowerShot SD500. The quality is super fine, I love it, but one thing I hate about it, is when i try to take close up pictures, and no matter what I try, it just won’t focus! e.g: I will be taking a picture of a flower, I would want the focus on the flower, and the backgrounds blurry. Sorta like those professional pictures?
So, do you guys have any suggestions? Bonus if the camera can also focus when taking videos (:
