Looking for a camera that is under or right around $250. it’s for my brother, he takes a lot of pictures but also likes to take videos on occasion. i want to get him something that takes great pictures and has a video quality as well, also it should be easy to upload to youtube if possible. another thing is that it should be portable and durable. I’ve been looking at Samsung, Kodak, and Olympus for the most part, but if you know of a great camera that fits this criteria then ill take a look at it.

Uploading digital photos with no laptop?

Posted on Oct 28, 2009 under Digital news and reports | 19 Comments

I’m going on a trip out of the country in November, and I would like to upload digital photos that I have taken and stored on a memory card, but the trouble is… I don’t have a laptop!!

Yikes, what do I do?!!!

Money is really tight… I’ve practically killed myself getting the money for my trip. I don’t think I can afford a laptop now… :( Can you upload photos in an internet café? Wouldn’t they have to have the software?
I mean there are loads of internet cafés in Spain but I don’t know if the computers come with the software or if it has to be installed.

Can I put pictures back on my digital camera?

I imported pictures from my camera to my computer, and I accidentally erased them on my camera in the process. I want the pictures back on my sd card so I can have them printed. Is there any way to put them back on my camera?
When I insert my SD card into my laptop, my computer recognizes it, but when I click on it or try to send my pics to it, it says "Please Insert Disk into SD card (F:). " But it is inserted!!

How to fix Nikon Coolpix L6 digital camera lens?

Posted on Oct 28, 2009 under Digital news and reports | 15 Comments

My photos look really distorted, like the pixels in certain areas will be bright neon colors. If I fiddle with certain settings it’s not as apparent but it’s still there. I think this has something to do with the lens. Sometimes the camera will accidently turn on in the case but the lens won’t be able to extend all the way because it’s in there. How can I fix this?

Can I crop and edit digital photos when printing them from stores?

Posted on Oct 28, 2009 under Digital news and reports | 17 Comments

I would like to get my photos printed from a store instead of my computer so that they are a better quality. However, some of my photos need to be cropped. Can I do this at the kiosk at the photo center, or do I have to do this at home before printing at the store?

where in florida can i get a japanese digital perm?

Posted on Oct 28, 2009 under Digital news and reports | 16 Comments

digital perm is a perm which uses hot rods with the temperature regulated by a machine, which has a digital display, hence the name. Hair stylists usually call it a “hot perm”, but it is commonly known as a “digital perm”. A digital perm makes the wave most prominent when the hair is dry, and loose when it is wet. Therefore you can create the dry and curly look of the curl iron or the hot curler. The digital perm requires heat, so it is also called a “hot perm” in comparison to the normal “cold perm”.
here’s a picture example of it; http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m34/mbdg/hair_results.jpg
