SONY CYBERSHOTS! obviously
sony is best in terms of cost and ease of use
samsung cameras are costlier and stylish but technology is not better than sony

I think the samsung st550 is the best if your the photo type person because you have the front screen so when you taking a picture it is easier

Sony Cybershots is better because it take picture faster and little delay time. The lesser the delay time the better. The Sony Cybershot also take good quality pictures. My 5 years old son abuse the camera a lot and it still working fine. We have the camera for more than 4 year now.

Sony has been building digital cameras for years and is very good at it. Samsung is new to the market. Sony is the better of the 2.

Hi. First question is what are you going to use the camera for? Quick snaps at parties etc or something more serious. I always recommend people go to a store and hold a camera they are thinking of buying. You should almost instantly be able to find your way around it. Personally I love the Samsungs and would go with that!
