What digital Canon SLR Is best to buy and why?
Posted on Nov 04, 2009 under Digital news and reports |I am in the middle of buying another canon. I currently have a Canon rebel XTI. I need a major upgrade. I’m looking for something with more mega pixels, options, faster , better quality, and bigger image display.
I am also looking for portable lights, equipment and lenses. I am shooting Models, weddings, events, and bands (night and day)
If you have links, information on prices, and reviews that would help me out very very much.

How do I eliminate noise off my pictures? do i buy different lenses or a better camera?
I am looking for something that takes full frame pictures..
Is this the camera or the lens i have to buy?

I love the 40d. It is part of the EOS line; there are cameras both higher than it and lower, but I feel like this one is the best for the price.

Before you go off running with a better camera…. get the better lenses. I use Nikon, but I read damn well. Your camera takes some of the best pictures in it’s class. You get better lenses first and then see if you need a better camera. As far as megapixels to get bigger images? How big you trying to go? Print size isn’t controlled entirely by camera megapixels.
I don’t have the link that tells about this off hand… I’m sure PhotoAce does. Look at the Aliens Bees for beginner portable lighitng. You can also look at Calumet for equipment also.
As far as lenses… definately get a 50mm 1.8 for 100 bux you will be amazed by it’s results. Look at getting prime lenses… they have better optics

The Canon Rebel XTi is a fine camera… my first DSLR was the XTi. Have you learned everything there is to know about this camera?
I suggest you invest your money in good lenses and other accessories for your system… but if you insist on upgrading, then perhaps you’d be interested in the 50D or 5D Mark II.
To eliminate noise, shoot at a lower ISO. There is also a program called "Noise Ninja" that can help remove noise.
