Can I install the digital river version of windows 7 on my Macbook Pro?

The Digital River download file is an upgrade programme that runs from within an existing instance of Windows (ie. Vista or XP) and upgrades it to Windows 7.
This will therefore work fine if you already have a BootCamp partition with Windows installed (just insert the disc in your existing Windows install and follow the on-screen prompts).
However, the download from Digital River is not a bootable disc .ISO file and therefore will not be recognised by Boot Camp during startup to allow a ‘new-build’ install if you do not have Windows already installed.
