I am looking for a digital camera that you highly recommend. I am a teenager and just want it for taking pictures when I hang out with my friends and family occasions etc but I DON’T want a junky one that takes blurry/low quality pictures. I am willing to spend up to $200, and I want pictures that come out looking really professional, but a camera that’s easy to use (point and shoot)
THANKS! =)

I’m looking for a digital camera under $200 with the best quality for close-up photography. I’d like the best possible optical zoom and at least 10 mega pixels. Essentially, I’m devoted to Canon, but I’m open to all suggestions.

so i had a canon powershot sd1100 and the one time i drop it, it breaks. so i am asking for a new one for christmas. i am looking for one with all the same features and i couldnt find them anywhere else but with a canon so i was debating between a powershot sd780 or a powershot ds1200. i rly like the look of the 780 but it is super expensive. is it really worth it? or should i just go with the 1200? i am 13 but dont get me wrong i use the features to full value. and i rly take care of them. please help. thanks.

I have a Sony Alpha A100. I am trying to figure out how to do portraits/parties where it blurs the background and the person is in focus….

Till many years, still camera having a good resolution had limited memory and good camcorders had tapes / dvds and had very low still photo resolution.
Do we now have a best of both breeds having hard-disks or high capacity sd cards that is capable of having good resolution photos (for me I’m ok with 3Mega pixel and above) and 3 hrs of recording.
Please share your own camcorders experience. I was more leaning towards Sony.
Thanks for the responses so far. One thing I missed to specify is the Zoom Capacity also. I’d love to have optical zoom of min 25x

i have a sony cyber-shot digital camera and over the months i have gathered over 600 pictures on my memory card…is there a way to delete them all at once rather then 1 at a time?
and how do i do that lol

so now I dont know if I should delete them or keep them on the little card. I already have them on my computer but what if later on i get a new computer or something. At the same time I do wanna erase them cause I just don’t wanna keep buying the little memory cards cause I already have 3 and like 600 pics in all. So should I delete them or keep them on there or what? Later on I just don’t wanna be like "oh i shouldn’t have deleted them". Do you delete your pix after printing them?
