If u want to make like a cartoon or amateur anime show, you can use flash.
I would choose digital video productions because of the greater opportunities. Flash can be learned rather quickly and does not require any skill.
There is a "show" called bunnykill. It’s made using macromedia flash, and it has become very popular. Check it out on google or youtube: If u watch all five, (I think it’s 5) and u like it, then u can learn to animate like that with your own cartoons.
Digital video can make video games, 3d anime, or digitally animated cartoons you see in theatres.
