NIKON COOLPIX S203 DIGITAL CAMERA, is it any good ? read please :?
Posted on Dec 02, 2009 under Digital news and reports |I know nothing about digi cams, I have one from 2001, and it has zoom and stuff, but my SIL who is 30 says my camera is like a dinosaur 
and I take pics for ebay etc. Does this camera that is on sale for $88 on Black Friday, is it an OK digi cam and what is it missing I should know about, My "dinosaur" camera is about to die My SIL said my digi cam has to be held real still and the color isn’t good ?
I was trying also to take pictures of my new grandson and my SIl had a newer one and he could move it more, where mine had to be stable and not move and very "careful" and I want to find one for every day photos that is more like his :0

I can’t help with this specific camera-I’m looking for reviews too- but I did want to address your Ebay comment- you don’t need a great fancy camera with all the bells and whistles to take pics for Ebay. the one I use is probably from 2001 as well -in fact it may hinder you with loading time due to the higher resolution. Eventhough I’ll try to get this camera at Target on Friday- I’ll still use my dinosaur to take my Ebay pics.

Nikon is one of the top camera brands but they are best recommended for their dSLRs. There is something hard to explain about their compacts which is cumbersomely discovered once you already have it. You would be better off with a Canon, a Sony or a Lumix which are all relatively easier to use.
