I need help choosing between a few digital cameras. Does anyone have experience with them?
Posted on Dec 04, 2009 under Digital news and reports |I’ve been looking at the Panasonic DMC-FX580, and so far, I love it because it has full manual controls. (Well, mostly)
Only thing is, I’ve read it has mediocre/bad image quality. I’m torn in half. Can anyone vouch for either side? And if the image quality is bad, can anyone recommend a similarly priced digital camera with (almost) full manual control. (Like shutter timings, aperture control, bracketing, etc).

I’ve had panasonic cameras in the past, and have no complaints about the quality of the photos, the Leica lenses that Panasonic uses are wonderful.
go to http://dpreview.com and search for cameras with the same features, in the same price range. Compare the results side by side, read the reviews and study the sample images. Then go to a store and handle the models you’ve decided to look at further. Buy the one you feel most comfortable handling.
