Looking for a good digital camera up to $220?

I want high quality pictures and the ability to focus on say a flower and have the background blurred and vise-versa. Perferable nikon or cannon. Any suggestions?

Currently i have purchased Canon ISUX 200 IS and is really cool for its image quality as compared with Sony and FujiFilm.

Canon and Sony are good and are under $200. You can also try Casio Exilim 1050 or 1070, they are also good in what you are looking for. You can try this link http://www.best4deals.com/best4deals/cameradeals.jsp to get some good cameras under 200.
