What is the best digital camera?
Posted on Dec 06, 2009 under Digital news and reports |I plan on buying a digital camera for myself for christmas. lol. & was wondering if there is one that anyone would recommend? I have a digital slr that I love but would like to have just a small point and shoot digital camera for my purse that actually takes good pictures. I have a fujifilm finepix j10 that I got for a gift a few years ago but I hate it. It takes awful pictures. So I have decided that I am kicking it to the curb for a new one. I’m almost certain I want a Nikon or Canon. What digital camera do you think I should buy? Please be specific on brand and model. Thanks. =)

the canon powershot s90 is a must have and is in every single "best compacts of 2009" list on the internet, and its only $400. i got one recently and it delivers dslr style quality when i forget to or too lazy to bring my d200

i have the samsung SL202. it’s cute, takes great pictures, and is easy to use. you’ll love it. i do. and it’s a great size and will totally fit in your purse. check it out online. i got mine at best buy but they even sell it in suburban walmarts.

If you are looking for point & shoot camera I wold recommend Canon and here are good model that you can choose one for you budget.

Anything in the Fujifilm Finepix F series, or any other brand’s waterproof camera (Pentax Optio W60, Olympus Stylus SW).
