If you mean those offers than claim to be software you buy that give you thousands of channels on your computer, they are generally scams.
They claim to offer major channels yo get from cable or satellite, bit inf fact do not offer them , or illegally offer them,and get shut down for it.
The channels they do legitimately offer are more of a niche and international fare, and already free on the internet, and less that TV quality usually.
