Best digital camera? Tips?

My name is Maddi and I am interested in photography. I am 20 years old and I have taken photography classes but I couldn’t deal with the Dark Room. So due to my phobia of the dark and closed spaces I have chosen digital. I was wondering if you had any suggestions for cameras. I cannot spend too much money for I am a college student. I am learning to become a veterinary technician. I make about $500 a month but my room and board is free. I would appreciate any tips and information you could give me.

Converting VRC tapes to digital format?

Hello everyone. Me and my family have some video tapes of our family that we would like to convert to digital format. While I know this is something that will take awhile to do I still want to do it on my own. I was wondering what are the normal methods on doing this. I right now have a Tv tuner card that I think will do the job for sending the signal from the VCR to my computer I am now looking for some good software to help me to do the recording.

Is there any good software out there that is good for this?

Good digital cameras for beginner photographer?

Preferably under $200-ish? I know that’s really cheap and won’t get much. I currently have a Nikon Coolpix s220.

i want a digital camera but can’t choose which one.?

i need a digital camera that has flash options, a timer, can take videos, portable, small, and can hold many pictures, has batteries, has a color blue, and has a nice design, all of which can’t be over "omygawd" expensive. thanks and reply before febuary eleventh so i can tell my parents. :)) ;p
for the flash options i mean like turning flash on and off not always on.

Recommendation for my Nikon D5000 Digital SLR?

I just got this camera and is new to photography. I was wondering what type of light/flash would I need to buy to take pictures in dark areas such as night clubs, bars concert ?

New Moon Blu-Ray/Digital download?

When Twilight came out, if you bought it at a certain location, the blu-ray version came with a free iTunes digital download - has anybody found out of New Moon will too? I’ve been looking and none of them expressly mention a complimentary digital companion download.

Do digital media artists work with Adobe Photoshop?

I am thinking about taking a non-darkroom photography class and am wondering if this will help me find my love for digital media. The course works with Photoshop (I would have to take pictures outside of the classroom). Please give me your thoughts. Thanks!
