where is the software to use a digital camera as a webcam?

i have a digital concept 2.1 megapixel camera and i dont know how to use the webcam feature, any help?

  1. Do you have the owner’s manual for the camera? If not perhaps Google for it with the manufacturer.

    Are you sure it’ll work as a web cam?

  2. The software to use a digital camera as a webcam is in the digital camera itself. If it were programmed to do so, you simply connect it to the computer with a USB cable and choose the right option in the menu. Most often, upon connection, the camera will ask what function would you want to use, whether to transfer files or use as a webcam. Most cameras do not have this feature so check your camera’s manual or menu system if you indeed have it.

  3. If your digital camera doesn’t support video capture you can always get a special cable to connect it to your PC. I got one at VideoInterviewKits.com and hooked it up to my Canon PowerShot video camera. Works great as a webcam.
