Incandescent light is simply a warm light created by regular household light bulbs. Candlelight is also considered incandescent. Tungsten is what the filaments in light bulbs are made of. Different kinds of lights, produce different color temperatures. The white balance of your camera has to be set to match the type of lights you’re shooting in, or the colors will be incorrect.
On normal daylight film, tungston lighting produces a blue cast over photos taken, incandescent lighting (standard light bulbs you would use at home) gives an orange cast, while fluorescent lighting gives a purple cast. On photos taken with digital cameras the various light sources also produce coloured casts, but I don’t know whether they are the same colours as with film. If you visit the sites, especially the second one, linked in the first answer above, you’ll understand more fully.
EDIT: Oops! Fluorescent lighting gives a green cast on film, which can be prevented by using a purple filter over the lens when shooting under fluorescents.

tungsten is a filliment that produces yellow light in incandesant lights
at night time look at peoples houses, the lights appear to be yellow or greeish or white - these are different colour temps
so have a look at this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Incandescent_light_bulb
