Is there a difference between an IMAX 3D movie and a digital screen 3D movie?

Do you need glasses with a digital screen?
is a digital screen really 3D?
I mainly ask because I want to see Alice in 3D (I don’t really see movies in 3D) and want to make sure I get the real thing?

A film can be shown in digital format which has a sharper picture and sound. This has nothing to do with 3D. A 3D production requires you to wear special glasses which permit you to experience the effect of objects coming off the screen and the tremendous depth of field. This type of movie is filmed using special cameras that film the scene from two angles at the same time.
When you add IMAX to the mix you have the very latest in movie technology. IMAX is a large screen format with the capacity to record and display images of far greater size and resolution than most conventional film systems.
If you get a chance, go to see Alice in the IMAX 3D format if it is available in your area. It is truly worth it.

There really is no difference as far as the 3d effect between the two. The main difference that you would notice is Imax is on a larger screen.

When I originally commented I clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get four emails with the same comment. When Cityville was officially announced final week, Zynga mentioned that they hoped to have the game out by “the finish from the month”. We have not heard something because then. I rather doubt they’ll release the game during thanksgiving (although I may very well be wrong), so we could be looking at a release date somewhere inside the 1st week of December. I hope it’s not than that. Judging in the gameplay video clip we posted before, it appears like the sport is pretty shut to being finished, so I hope it gets released ASAP.
