digital pregnancy test came up pregnant now i am bleeding?
Posted on Mar 10, 2010 under Digital news and reports |I took a clear blue pregnancy test on the 1st because i was late for my period and it came back Pregnant then yesturday i started bleeding and it is heavy bleeding and i heard that some people have normal periods while pregnant i just need to know why am i bleeding i dont have any abdominal pain or any thing its just bleeding and it is a darker red i went to the hospital and they told me that i was not pregnant so i am really confused they did not do a blood test just a regular pee test

Take another HPT and this time get one that’s not digital -
The digitals are crap and not very accurate
I used a digital knowing full well there was no way I could be pregnant and it came up positive -

Sounds like you could be suffering from a "chemical pregnancy", which is essentially a very early miscarriage. But you should follow up with your doctor and get a blood test and an ultrasound.

Go to the ER. Bleeding in pregnancy may be nothing, but it is not "normal" so go to the ER or see if your doc can see you now!

u could be having a miscarriage. But i would call ur obgyn. For some reason i dont show up pregnant on pee tests and u could have the same thing. But id definately call the obgyn and explian. they might be able to squeeze u in and help u out. Hope this helps

I know this is hard and its confusing. I just recently went through the same thing. I took 6 tests total. Sunday i got a negative. Wednesday I got 2 positives. Thursday i got a positive then friday morning and night i got a negative. I was so confused. I started bleeding Saturday morning. I called the doctor and she said I had a chemical pregnancy. Where your egg is fertilized but it doesn’t stick. I’m really sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

You are most likely experiencing a chemical pregnancy. Where the egg is fertilized but doesn’t implant. It’s a very early miscarriage.

Some women may experience light bleeding or spotting when they are pregnant, but it is not normal or common for a woman to have heavy bleeding or an actual period while she is pregnant.
You may have experienced a chemical pregnancy, where the egg was fertilized but for some reason failed to implant and the pregnancy failed to progress. If that was the case, you could have had a positive test a few days prior or after your period was due, but then go on to have your normal period and thus, you are not pregnant.
If you are still unsure you can go back and request a blood test or take another urine test in a couple of weeks. But if you’re having your period and a negative test–even if you had a positive one a couple of days ago–you are probably not pregnant. Good luck.
