What digital camera should I buy.?

I want a nice, well-rounded camera with a decent to good zoom and macro capabilities. Also image stabilization is a must. I am trying to not get into a DSLR but still want some perfromance. Thanks!

    If you don’t mind size I would recommend Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ35 12.1MP with 18x Zoom and 2.7 inch LCD. Great zoom, great image quality. POWER Optical Image Stabilized works great.
