Do digital slr cameras come with a wireless remote?
Posted on Mar 30, 2010 under Digital news and reports |I want to invest in a digital SLR camera and I was wondering if they came with a wireless remote because I will need one for the kind of photography I like. I am thinking of getting either a canon or nikon so I don’t know if they come with one of not. Thanks

No, they are an accessory for some DSLR’s
You will have to look at the accessory list on all the DSLR’s you are considering

As fhotoace said, no, they don’t.
Some might list them as an optional accessory, but there are other ways, as well.
I bought a very cheap one from ebay. I plug the receiver into the side of the camera and trigger the shutter via the remote. It has been working very well on several camera bodies for a few years now.
