The disk that came with the camera is for Windows XP. Is there a way to get it to work with Windows 7?

Hi all,
I have recently been looking into buying a new (stereo) receiver and matching speakers, and have come across Harman Kardon’s HK 3490, which seems to be perfect for my needs. If I buy this receiver, I plan on connecting the output of my computer’s sound card to the input of this device with a digital cable.
I am currently using a vintage JVC amplifier, coupled with a Technics SH-8020 equalizer. I would like to keep using the equalizer, if that is possible. In the receiver’s manual, which I downloaded, the following is stated:
"Main-Amp Inputs and Preamp Outputs:
These jacks are normally connected directly to each other with an included jumper. Some devices, such as equalizers and some loudspeaker systems, require connection between the Preamp Outputs and Main-Amp Inputs, in which case the jumpers should be removed and stored in a safe place for future use. You may also remove the jumpers if you wish to connect the Preamp Outputs to an external amplifier, or if you wish to connect another device’s line-level output directly to the HK 3490’s power amplifier for a special application."
Does this mean I can hook my analog-only equalizer (RCA connections) up between these in- and outputs, while feeding the receiver itself with a digital signal? If so, that’d be great.
Thanks in advance!
