CannonSLR, Sony, Nikon all seem very good….I’ve had Cannon and now have a Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-H20. I want to upgrade…I miss the eye piece of the SLR for centering the shot….Opinions please…

I clean foreclosed homes for a living and i take about 150 photos of each house. First I take all the before photos, then action photos, then after photos. When i get home, i have to load all the pics onto my computer, compress them and email them to my boss. The problem is, that they want them organized into befre/after, before/after, before after. I am able to move them around, but once they are sent, they go bcack to the original order. Ive tried several programs, and nothing is ever as it seems.HELP

I have an Olympus Digital SLR I bought about 3 years ago, and the pictures have become "soft". I wasn’t sure if the problem was the body, one lens, or both, or if in fact I was imagining the problem. I brought the camera in to the dealer who sent it to Olympus for an estimate.
I was told it would cost $399 to fix–but they would not ("could not") tell me what the problem was, only that it needed fixing. This seems like a ripoff since if I knew it was one lens, or the body only etc., I could make a good decision as to whether to repair or get new, etc.
Has anyone else run into this problem? And does anyone know if there is a good and legit reason for this kind of policy–the dealer was trying to explain it to me, but I am not totally convinced! Thanks….

I’m thinking of buying this lens Tamron 18-200 mm AF F/3.5-6.3 XR Di II Digital SLR Lens for Nikon D-Series for my D40X. I’m a a photo-enthusiast but not a professional so it doesn’t have to be amazing. I just take lots and lots of pictures. I’m buying the non-stabilized version for $200.
Has anyone used it and had good results?

My sony cyber shot is finally meeting the end, it takes nice pics outside but horrible pics in doors. So I was wondering what is a digital camera that takes nice pics in doors and out doors.
