I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction to making a 3 digit calculator with a subtract feature, a clear feature, add feature by 10 and 100 with a digital display. I would like to basically make a backwards counter set by a mechanical switch with a reset button and the ability to add a hundred or 10s. I know the easy way would be to utilize a standard calculator but wondering how hard it would be to build that from scratch. Any ideas?
For what I want to design it for it would be worth it as long as it’s not going to cost an arm and leg. I am somewhat familiar with programmable ICs and I have designed programs with flowcode. Just for testing purposes I’m gonna tear apart a calculator and see what I can do with that. I would be able to add a specific number and have the switch set up to subtract one each time it is triggered.

Hi, Iv’e been looking around for a portable hard drive, and have found the Western Digital 500GB Elements portable hard drive to fit everything I want. But everywhere iv’e looked it’s cost quite abit. I know PC world had a sale on in January and it was only £53 but sadly I missed this. Does anyone know a place that I might be able to pick it up cheaper? I’m in the UK. Thanks.

I have heard people saying that an antenna only transmits analog waveforms. why? If so then how is digital data transmitted? Is pulse waveform also an analog waveform?
