I happen to love the method of creating art, and most digital photograpy seems to just not have it for me. A darkroom, chemicals, and a long strip of 35mm is what I want.
But I want to hear both sides. Give me your best arguement. Is digital photgraphy art? Is it a means to an end? Did it kill film? Is there any other way to do photographic art these days?
And if you side with me: what makes standard photography so special anyway? By the time it reaches product stage, what does it do that digital photography can’t?

I have the Kodak Easyshare C633. I’m having problems downloading my pics because I deleted the software because it was slowing down my computer. I plugged in my camera and it dosnt detect it anymore. I decided to re-install the software but they don’t offer it for Windows ME anymore.. I downloaded Google’s Picasa in hopes that would import the pics from my camera but it dosnt find it either. I check the drivers list and it finds Kodak camera but says I need to update driver, but then it wont let me because the kodak website makes me try to download their software… and like I said I can’t. Is there a way I can download the driver only and will that let me use picasa? Can anyone out there help me!!
kodak.com says Driver ONLY but it wont let me download only the driver it has me downloading kodak software

i’ve done this a million times but this time, when i connect my camera, iphoto pops up but doesn’t show my camera. my camera is on but it’s nowhere to be found on my computer.

one of my cameras, when i connect it, pops up in iphoto. my other camera, when i connect it, opens iphoto but doesn’t pop up in the sidebar so i can’t upload the pix that are on it. i tried putting the memory card in the camera that works with my iphoto but it didn’t work. any way to get these pix off of the new camera?

What do you think of a DIGITAL Sign in COFFEE SHOPS?

i have a comcast digital converter box for my old tube tv, and when i hooked it up and tried to surf through some channels, it wouldn’t work. i tried both the remote to my tv, and the remote that came with the box. so i have a couple of questions. do i have to wait until comcast switches over to digital for the box to work? do i have to change a setting on my tv?
when i got the box, the people said that they are going to do something in the summer that will make the tube tvs not work.

I’m looking for a good point and click digital camera for my husband’s birthday. We have an older model Kodak Easyshare camera, but it burns through batteries incredibly fast. I’m looking for something easy to use with great picture quality, video and long battery life. I’ve been looking at Kodak Easyshare Z981, Canon Powershot or Fujifilm Finepix F31fd. Does anyone have any experience with any of these, or would you recommend something else? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I wanted to buy Avatar in Blu-Ray tomorrow (the 22nd) but was curious if anyone knows if a digital copy is going to be included in the 2 Disc package (I know it includes the Blu-Ray and DVD)
