yah so like i have a video option on my camera… and i have a usb cord….
SO IM WONDERING IF ITS POSSIBLE TO USE MY CAMERA AS A WEBCAM! my friend uses a camera.. but his is a different brand…

It’s formatted for my Mac but I want to get some stuff from a friend that uses Windows 7. It won’t show up on his computer. This HD has over 900 GB of stuff on it and I don’t want to have to format it for windows. Is there ANY way to get it show up on his computer? Thanks in advance.
Oh and don’t bother posting if you are just going to say get a PC or Mac sucks! I have a Dell, I have a Mac. I use both. I like what I like, get over it!

Regardless of what setting a picture is taken at, the image comes out looking like I am taking the picture though window blinds.

i am just looking to buy a digital camera, for simple picture taking and some video recording. I’ve been looking into Sony Cyber-shots so far. Is there something better for about the same price? Also, I’ve been researching, but I have some questions.
how do i know that a camera has good lens quality?
I’ve heard that a higher mega pixel is not always great. what is a good mega pixel for my purpose?
is it true that not all cameras come with sound with the video recording feature?

These are hot holiday items…and there are a lot of "cheap" no-name ones out because of this. I have seen many at Brookstone, Sharper Image, and other lower quality ones, and looking for some suggestions from people who OWN them. I am looking for around an 8" ($200 range) but one that preferably takes high capacity SD cards (newer SDHC >4GB cards) - but also must be GOOD resolution (I have seen plenty of poor quality images in the cheaper ones that you can see dithering). I actually bought a couple of Aluratek 11" frames that have 1GB internal memory, but returned them in less than 24 hrs because transferring photos by USB was horrendously painful and many times did not recognize the device when plugged in the computer. I have learned my lesson, and want to look for a better quality one. THANKS!

He Yahoo Answers world I am looking to buy a Point and Shoot Digital Camera.
Price range: Up to $350
Specifications of camera:
- 2.7 - 3.0 LCD screen
- Resolution: 10 - 12 mega pixels
- Optical Zoom: 8 and up
- Image Stabilization
- Rechargeable battery
- HD video Capability
- Can fit in like a pocket or something like that just not too big.
These are just the basic pointers. You guys/girls are much more intelligent and informed and hopefully can find something great for me.
I am not a professional or even an amateur photographer. I am just looking for camera that I can use for every occasion. Such as parties, beach, on vacation, site seeing, portraits, inside the house, sports. Pretty much a point a shoot camera that can be used any where and can be easily carried in a pocket or in a very small carrying case.

I am looking for something in the Nikon, Cannon, Panasonic, Sony brand. I know this covers pretty much all the main brands but just adding this info to make sure. I am not looking for some cheap brand. Looking to buy from J & R hopefully or some recommendations you may have.
