Obviously, I want to take some nice pictures when I visit Rio next month. I have a pretty nice camera, but everything I read says I shouldn’t bring a watch/camera or [pretty much anything except the shirt on my back to Rio. Anyone have any thoughts/advice on this?

Just got a memory card for my samsung S760 (I mention this because this is when all this started). The pictures look normal on the camera but when I upload them to my computer they have split screens, over-exposed, etc. The pictures also look normal in the thumbnails. So why do they look normal on the camera and thumbnails but when I open them they are, basically, junk?! Should I buy another memory card? Is there any way to salvage the pics?

I’ve already posted this question but your answers haven’t succeeded my question. I have a samsung pl50 digital camera, i’ve just brought a data cable with built in charger though when i connect camera to laptop nothing happens. The cable is good as it charges the camera but no success on file transfer. I’ve downloaded the Drivers for this device & yet again my laptop HP G60 fails to pair
Please Please Help!!

Does anyone with a Canon EOS digital camera use a third party telephoto lens?
If so:
1. Which lens do you use?
2. From which company did you buy it?
3. Do you like it?
I plan to use the lens for photographing events around my community (rodeo, softball, etc.). What I am trying to decide is whether to buy a Canon lens or a less expensive third party lens.

In what ways can the images of the networking digital cameras be sent to electronic postcards?
What will be the mean of transmission?
what can be the limitations?
Is there a site which shows how pictures are transferred to electronic postcards from the Networking Digital Cameras.
is there any company offering this service?
Best answer will be given if the question is replied to my expectations.

I’m thinking of buying a new Digital SLR body. I would like a full-frame camera, and wondered if anyone knew of any in the Canon range which have a full frame sensor (35mm) other than the 5D (and 5D mark 2!)
Thanks.

I am looking for a good quality but fairly inexpensive digital camera that I can take to travel. I have narrowed it down to these cameras:
Camera 1: http://www.amazon.com/Casio-Exilim-Digital-Optical-2-5-Inch/dp/B0031WU13U/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1274374397&sr=8-5
Camera2: http://www.amazon.com/Olympus-Digital-Camera-Optical-Silver/dp/B0036VNPLQ/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1274374452&sr=1-4
Thanks!
