How can I get the date to show on my digital pictures using Lumix DMC-LS85? I tried everything.?

I can’t see the date the picture was taken? it’s been very frustrating with Panasonic and they don’t have any support.

    It’s in the "Playback Menu"

    It comes under "Text stamp" Page 67 of the manual.
    You can select to print [SHOOTING DATE], [AGE], [TRAVEL DATE] or [TITLE]
    It creates a new 3mp picture, the original image is kept.
