How to take jumping/action pictures on my digital camera?

I really want to get a cool picture of my friends and I jumping. Thank you!

Something to remember this is a compact, what I like to call a pocket toy. It has no manual controls meaning the camera makes all the decisions. Unless your shutter speed is high enough, as in
1/500 and up and your aperture open appropriately you’ll never get motion shots without blur.
For this you need a high end point and shoot that has manual controls or an SLR - the only way.

You can shoot at 0.8 frames per second in Continuous Shooting Mode.
Press the Func/set button.
Use the Up/Down arrow keys to select the single square symbol.
Then use the Left/Right buttons to select the multiple squares symbol.
Press Func/set. The multiple squares symbol should appear on the screen.
Now when you press the shutter, the camera will fire at 0.8 fps (that’s the best it can do) as long as you hold the button down.
It won’t work with the self timer though, someone has to actually press the shutter button and the focus and exposure are locked when the button is pushed to the half-way position.
And as the number of exposures increases the fps may slow down.

look for "burst mode" some where in the settings, turn it on, go to sumplace where there’s plenty of light (light shud fall from behind cam). wen takin the photo, keep the shutter button pressed and it shud tak as many photos as u want one after the other (delay between shots 0.8s according to specs on website) as long as u kip it pressed.
if the photos look blurred, change the mode to manual and change the shutter speed to sumthin around 1/500 (make sure there’s enuf light where ur shootin) then take the shots
