Positive digital pregnancy test? 4 more negative?
Posted on Jun 25, 2010 under Digital news and reports |The first one was a First Response Digital Gold Standard. It was positive. The second was the same kind it was negative. The last three were First Response but they were the regular one line 2 line…all three negative! If I am pregnant I’m only in my 3rd week. My temperature has been 98.6 or higher since Friday (normal for me is 98.1) been feeling a little quesy…but nothing super noticeable. I noticed a spot of blood Wednesday night…dawned on me that it could by the embryo implanting in my uterus….that’s why I took the test. I figured it would be negative regardless, just because my period isn’t due for a minute, but my friend thought I should check anyway. So imagine my shock when I see a big fat yes on the stick! But now the other ones all being negative have me feeling anxious! My doctor’s appointment isn’t till Tuesday! Thoughts?

how long had it been since you releived yourself with the first test? maybe your urine was more concentrated so that is why it was picked up on the first test. usually it will take a few days after implantation to build up enough hCG to show up. i would try again in a day or two with your first morning urine. good luck and baby dust.

It is early so some test might not be able to catch the hormone yet. I would say buy a good test, and test tomorrow first thing in the monring. Good Luck

I would try to relax and retake a test with the first sample of urine in the morning. The more concentrated you urine, the more accurat the test will be. I would go for digital as you wont see lines that aren’t their. It will give you an answer. Good luck.

From what my doctor has told me, you can get false negatives but you cannot get a false positive..
