I just got the Canon PowerShot SX210 IS as a graduation present, and int he instruction manual, it doesn’t say where things are located… and I was wondering, where exactly IS the digital macro?
Because I had it in my Canon PowerShot SD1200 IS…
so If anyone could help me, it would be GREAATTLLLY appreciated!

I don’t know a thing about cameras.
What I’m looking for is a camera that will take crisp, clean photos, with a nice zooming ability. Zooming is very important. The camera should also have nice video quality and long battery life. It would be great to have the ability to upload pics to the internet. Also, I prefer a camera that is lightweight and not too expensive (preferably under $400). I like cameras that are available in different colors, but it is not necessary.
Also, which camera brands are the best, and why? Is Sony a good brand?

Cost IS something that would matter to me. If i got a film it would probably be an older camera, so it would save me money right away (but then theres paying for development, you know). And if i get a digital i can print them out on my home printer, and plus theres the whole being able to see your picture right away and not wasteing film.
Style also matters, and personaly i like the old film cameras better.
Which do you think i should get?
(this would be my first camera ever, id use it more for photography, im 15 so i have barely 100$ total..)
thanks guys, and i do have a lot of photography knowledge actually. Ive liked it for years, my boyfriends dad is a professional photographer, and my aunt (who im living with right now) is a photographer. so im around it a lot.
or do i need another special thingymaboober for the camera to see the infrared lighting?

I am so stressed out! I am leaving for vacation tomorrow morning and i can’t remember where I put my camera. I havn’t taken a picture on it since last Wed. but i uploaded facebook pictures from it last thursday and it was just sitting on my kitchen table for days. My mom made me bring all the stuff on the table that was mine up to my room and I can’t remember where I put it. I SAW IT TODAY! sometime i just know it! I can’t remember where I saw it or when I saw it! How do you remember where something is? I need it… i really don’t want to resort to using my cell phone camera because I have a fantastic digital camera and I really want it back!
