What can I do about invalid digital signature error when downloading iTunes?
Posted on Jul 02, 2010 under Digital news and reports |I wanted to install the latest iTunes but every time I get an Invalid digital signature error so I can’t run the install.
I’m mainly downloading direct from the Apple website and I’ve just tried it from an alternative site too, I’ve also uninstalled the old version iTunes but it’s made no difference.
I’ve tried it with my 3Gs iphone connected and not connected, I have enough memory, other downloads are ok and I’ve even used a cable direct to my moden to bypass the wireless.
Any ideas?

hi there go to tools>internet options
then click the advanced tab
scroll to the security options and you will see an option to ‘allow software to download even if the signature is invalid’
check this box and click to apply changes. restart internet explorer and you should be good to go.
not sure about other browsers but i imagine it is similar.
