What are some good digital graphics programs that are free?

I’m looking to actually start doing more work with digital graphic and design and was looking for a program. Willing to try any type of program and I am very computer literate so it’s not like I wont understand the program so anything helps

  3. For image editing and painting such as you can do in Photoshop, the Gimp http://www.gimp.org
    For vector drawing such as you can do in Adobe Illustrator, Inkscape http://www.inkscape.org
