I learned photography with a 70’s camera, and fell in love with it. I want to continue my photography, and am looking to buy a new camera. I want to have a camera with manual aperture, f-stop, and focus, but film development is slow and costly. Is there anything that works like the old ones do, but let you put the pictures on a computer instead?
I know digital SLRs are like that, but is it as manual as the older cameras?

I just got a new Logitech Z-5500 set of speakers and wondering where to plug in the Fiber optic cable into. The Verizon HD cable box I have, or to the TV that connects to the cable box viva a HDMI port.
I also have an xbox 360 here and wonder what I should do with it as well. Throw it to the TV/cable box with it’s AV cables? Get a HDAV pack and link it to the speakers viva it’s Optical connection?

My mom got this camera a while ago and it sucks,

One, theres not sound. Two, it takes BATTERIES and it uses them up in 2 minutes! And when I turn it on it freezes. I went on a field trip and I had to turn it off and on just to take pictures to make sure the battery wouldn’t die. And it can’t record for a long time.
So anyway I really wan’t a camera that actualy looks nice. Preferably Kodak, Samsung, Nikon or Sony because there the ony brands I trust. And I live on Long Island so if someone could maybe find a store online that is on Long island too that would be cool.

It already has a remote control. All I need is some way to get the coaxial input into the computer so I can watch it on my laptop screen. If there’s a wireless way to do this that’d be great, otherwise any other means will suffice.
