I live in liverpool, uk and I am looking for a basic introduction to photography. Any tips on where to start looking or any advice on how to take my first steps on the photography trail would be really helpful. Thanks!
I mean can't we measure the time without quartz or other elements which have accurate vibrations? Can't we use digital circuits to measure the time?
i have a tv with digital tv tuner. my flatmate has sky. if i connect my tv with the areal its not recieving any channels. its only showing me then one my flatmate is seeing on his tv! how do i get rid of this problem? do i have to buy a seperate antena for my tv? if i buy a internal areal, would it catch digital channels as well??

I am looking to put all my digital pictures on a site where I can get them developed, and also have them stored…
I'd like a place that is easy to upload multiple pictures at once, for I have a ton of them…
I am scared of losing all my pictures if my computer ever crashes.
Anyone know of a decent device that I can get to transfer old film reel to digital (jpeg's or something). Budget is around $150-250. I don't really want to go out to those guys who charge like huge $$$, just need something simple so I can preserve these photos before the film starts to wear off.
