I do not have the cd and when I connect my camera it is not recognized by the computer.
Do you think its better to purchase a digital camera with a chargeable battery or one you have to buy batteries for? I ask cause I just purchased a very nice Panasonic but I was disappointed when I got home and found that it took aa batteries (I thought that meant it was cheap) but then I thought if I ever needed it immediately I wouldn’t have to worry about the battery being charged cause I could always just buy some anyways what do you think? Oh and its a LS80 Lumix is this a good camera? I just feel I should ask these questions before I use it and can’t take it back, its just for home use nothing too elaborate.
I own a Pentax Optio M20.
A couple of months ago I went to turn it on & it won’t stay on. The screen says “green mode” and I cannot get it to stay on long enough to change the mode, take pix or anything. What is the freakin problem?!
Every site I look at says to leave the batteries out for the night to let the camera re-set itself & it doesn’t work, I left the batteries for over a week & no change! & I’ve also tried new batteries & different brands so thats NOT the problem.
Anyone have a clue??
i like digital arts. i like graphic designs. i like everything about it. but, if i take software engineering which i found that its fine. i have good grades in programming. i know i can make it. and if i am to take a job, i will have more salary rather than digital arts. i really want digital arts, but i dont think that it will make me a great person in the future. what will my job be? ..
if i take up software engineering i will be a wealthy and great person… but will i enjoy it? well, i can have short courses bout digital arts… OR i can even take up digital arts after i graduate software engineering but can i put my full focus in studying another degree that time!?

which is a better set up for a PS3? Video via HDMI to TV and audio via digital optical to receiver. OR video and audio via HDMI to receiver, then HDMI from receiver to TV?
I want the best sound and video quality, but I kinda also want to be able to use the PS3 without having to use the receiver all the time, like when other people in the house are in bed. Id like to have the option to just use the TVs speakers without having to unplug the cables each time. so I’m thinking that the HDMI and digital optical is the best route. any suggestions?
I don’t understand why you’d need paper, if they didn’t, but if they do, how do they work as a graphics tablet without the paper?

Actually you can only used the supplied stylus, but that doesn't explain how, when connected to a computer, you can use it as a graphics tablet.

I have a little portable TV/tape deck since 30 years — and now it will become a paperweight. Sure the ads all say “It’s SO much better!” But really, all the pocket liquid crystal portables will cease to work — and I’m quite happy as things are. Why is it “necessary” to eliminate the analog TV signal? It’s on FM bandwidth, right, so doesn’t interfere with, say microwave cellphone transmission. So why eliminate it?

VC: SOUNDS logical, but the 2nd paragraph reveals the problem. Aren't people who NEED emergency broadcast going to be better reached on VHF??? If their TV's don't work analog — what good will having the Emergency message come on a channel they no longer receive? Reminds me of Monty Python skit where they had a telephone that lit up "for the deaf". Only proiblem, the deaf person sees the light, picks up the phone, can't HEAR anything!
a few seconds later it had two lines. Very visible ones. I am wondering if maybe my hcg isn’t high enough yet for the digital to have picked it up? I took a dollar tree test the day before, and had a faint pink line, but it was after it had sat for a good while….so it was past the time limit. I just don’t know what to think. I’m about a week late. Should i interpret the lines on the digital test to mean i’m pregnant or go with the “not pregnant” digial reading?
